There is time at Te Puia to enjoy a light lunch at their cafe.[at your own cost]. You can also book a traditional Hangi lunch to enjoy at Te Puia, see the links in the "Options" section in the Summary Tab or check out the "Experiences" tab on the port page.

Is this tour suitable for children

Yes they will especially love the geysers erupting and the concert at Te Puia. At Rainbow Springs they can see lots of animals as well as the trout swimming in the pools. The new Big Splash water flume ride will also be a hit and they can go on the ride as many times as they want, the cost is included in the entry fee.

Will I be collected and dropped off at the ship?

We meet all passengers on our shared tours just outside the port pedestrian exit gate in Salisbury Avenue, this is also the drop off point at the end of the tour, just a short walk from the ships gangway.

There are no meals included in this tour, will I be able to buy lunch somewhere?

Yes, we have some free at Te Puia after the concert where you can buy a light lunch at their cafe. Rainbow Springs also has a cafe where you can enjoy a snack. If you have children doing the water flume ride you can easily keep an eye on them from the cafe.

Is this tour suitable for wheelchair users?

If you are able to board a small coach or minibus with assistance then we are happy to store any folding wheelchair in the vehicle. The destinations have well made paths suitable for wheelchairs.

Why is there a charge for infants up to the age of 3 years old.

We give parents the option to purchase an "infant" ticket as this then reserves a seat on the vehicle for the infant. If a ticket is not purchased then the infant may have to sit on their parents lap. If you have a suitable baby or infant seat, then this can be used, or you may be able to hire one from us. It is the parents choice as to how their children travel on our coaches and minibuses.

Can we have a traditional Hangi Lunch at Te Puia on this tour?

Yes this is possible, but due to the high demand and limited availability you will need to book this when you book this tour. You can do this on the "tickets" tab for the Tauranga/Rotorua ports of call page. Its at the bottom of the page and its code is TRG-T998, the cost is $17 NZ per person, be warned - the portions are large!

What if our ship time does not match the tour times?

When a ship is arriving or departing at times that do not suit our normal tour times, then we adjust these times to suit. These adjusted times are shown on your voucher when you make a booking and also on the "prices" tab of the tour details on the web site, if you have created a "my cruise" account.

My group is larger than 24 persons, can you do larger groups?

Yes, most of our tours are small group programs, but we can offer the same tour program in most cases for groups greater than 24 persons, please contact us to obtain a quotation.
